Madeline Infantine is an academic advisor for first-year students. Prior to joining Notre Dame’s Office of First Year Advising, she taught undergraduate composition and creative writing courses at Miami University. 

Infantine received her B.A. in English and Theology from Notre Dame in 2017. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry from Miami University and a Master of Theological Studies degree from the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry.

Infantine’s interests include advising practices that foster reflection and resilience, the intersection between imagination and student formation, and pedagogical approaches to nurturing creativity in the classroom. Her work has appeared in Notre Dame Magazine, Church Life Journal, and Presence: A Journal of Catholic Poetry, among other publications.
